Gamma correction in XGL / Compiz

I can't adjust my screen gamma setting since I've switched to Compiz. I know it's still beta, but is there any way to adjust the gamma? It's tough doing photography work in Linux.

Thanks in advance!

In a terminal, try man xgamma
HTH

Or, if you're running KDE, enter "man:xgamma" in Konqueror's address bar. The "man:" ioslave will display the man page as HTML. Often w/ working links to other man pages.

When I run xgamma I get this:

Quote:

Xlib: extension "XFree86-VidModeExtension" missing on display ":0.0".
Unable to query video extension version
I'm not running KDE, although I wish I was. I'm running gnome. But that's not the problem, the problem is XGL.

Anyone know how to solve this?
