galeon crahes X11 when scrolling of searching in long webpage

I have a problem using galeon since a bit of time. It appeared suddenly
after a reboot of my machine (!!). Before, everything was perfect.

Scrolling (either with the mouse or the page up/down keys) is now very
very slow, there are some black appearing at the bottom of the galeon's window while
scrolling. Processor activity increases dramatically when scrolling!!!!
Beside, searching in long webpage made of simple text (like makes X11 server
crashes which is not very nice.

The slow scrolling appears as well with mozilla, so it might be some more
general problem (video memory ???), but I'm short of idea to solve it...

I use Galeon 1.2.7 with RH9.0.

I use Galeon as well on my laptop, running Mandrake 9, with a lot of
reboots, and without any problem, so far.

I really would like to solve that, because I really like this browser, and now
it drives me crazy!!

If anyone has a idea, thanks by advance,
