Gaim display - opinions
 

I've just noticed that Gaim seems incredibly large on my 800x600 display.

Any instant messages take up a whole lot of real estate on the screen, and moving up in resolution, (although I want to) isn't possible since I haven't yet gotten my ATI Radeon 9000 Pro working with the correct drivers, so I'm running on vesa now.

Just wondering if anyone else running at 800x600 or any resolution I guess has noticed that Gaim seems HUGE when compared to regular old AIM.

Yes I have noticed that the Gaim screen is much bigger... even on my screen set at 1024x768. But if you turn off a bunch of the options I think that you can make the size reasonable.

Yeah, I can get the buddy list down to a reasonable size, but I can't seem to change the size of instant messages... Oh well, I guess that's why it offers tabbed messages.
