Gaim crashes when connecting to MSN

Since this evening, I can't get gaim 0.79 to connect to MSN anymore. Yahoo and AIM connect just fine, but when MSN connects it crashes right after "password sent". This happens with any MSN-account on any account on my PC... Does anybody know what causes this, and if not, where I can find a file that logged the error?

Even weirder, after working again for a while the problem is back. I've found out that it happens when resolving the buddy list, which is a known but resolved bug. Happens with the 0.79 AND 0.80. Just don't get it.
