Gaim


i am running mandrake9.1 and i would like to use the GAIM app

could i get a list of what i need to install it

Click on this link

Grab the file that is named 'gaim-0.71-1mdk9.1.i586.rpm'

Download it to your desktop. Double click it. Enter your root password. Go to your 'run' command or konsole and type 'gaim' and you're set!!!!! You won't need anything else

Mandrake 9.1 comes with gaim pre-installed. (atlest mine was)
Type gaim in a console window.

Try here: Start thingy then Networking then Instant messaging then Gaim. It should be there. It was by default anyway.

Hope that helps.

Oh, it may not work with Yahoo. Made some kind of change I read.
