Function tracing using dbx

Hi,
I am running one binary with debug ON (-g option is set) and I want to find out the function calling sequence using dbx.

Is there a way to find out what function is called in what sequence using dbx ?

Remember that more then 100 files are used to build the binary.

Thanks,
Barun

I use strace to trace system calls, but you are looking for tracing all the functions. This link has the answer: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3...calls-in-linux.

Thanks for the site.
But I am looking for some tools or commands like ftrace, which just shows function calls local to the binary.
Hope it can be done using "truss" using some library filtering.
