Full-screen fuzzies

Hey all, I've got a problem doing anything that's full screen. Mainly games and the like. My screen turns a crazy array of skewed multi color lines. I have no idea whats wrong sence everything else dealing with video is fine. I'm running slack10.1 with Xfce 4.2.Thanks in advance

May be you have not configured your display properly.
Select the correct display adapter.
In the text login, you can do this by either xorgconf or Xconfigurator.
