Question Full Games? Yes Or No

I have heard that everything in Linux is free.Is there a website or place I can get games for linux such as battlefield 1942 or Half-Life for free?Or atleast games like it.Also,seems how it would be for linux,is it legal?

no, it isnt legal to get those games for free. linux may be free, but that doesnt mean that just because you use linux means you get all your software free. still, there are plenty of games out there that are free. try these links:
