ftp hidden files


hi!!! ,

I will be happy if anybody suggests me a way to ftp hidden
files and directories frm a linux machine

Unless the server is set up to really make hidden files and directories (dotfiles) hidden and unreadable you can get them as usual with the get command when you have logged in to the FTP server. It depends on your FTP client too, but ls -a should list hidden directories and files (still - as long as the server allows it).

I usually use lftp, it's an excellent FTP client.
