Frontpage Extentions for Apache2
 

I have Apache/2.2.10 on openSUSE 11.1, and I am trying to install the FrontPage extensions. I found a copy of the FP Extension 5.0 but during the installation (running fp_install.sh) it says it is going to replace the running Apache with version 1.3.19. Not want I want.

I have google for a long time, and keep getting referred back to the "Ready To Run Software" website and they say the no longer provide it. They have links to Microsoft, which are no longer valid. A number of mailing list archives have references to installing the FP extensions, but the newest I have found are from 2007 and do not reflect either the files I have or how the install script appears to be working.

So to make a long story short, I was hoping that someone would have an update version of the FP Extenstions where I could either simply drop the .so into place or the source with accurate instructions of how to compile and install it.

says it all. It's not provided/supported any longer, so unless you want to run Apache 1.x, there's nothing else to do.

At least that's an answer. It definitely keeps me from wasting more time on it. Thanks!
