From Fedora Core 1 to Fedora Core 3
 

Hello!

I'm working in Fedora Core 1 and I want to do it in Fedora Core 3.

I have the 4 CDs for FC3 installation.

I have found some very interesting pages about FC3 installation, but no one about how to replace FC1 for FC3 (or update or upgrade).

What must I do? Start up with the first CD of FC3? Uninstall or remove anything?

If you boot with FC3 first CD, don't you have an option for upgrade?. I remember Redhat having that. Never tried Fedora myself though...

After all things I had read about this matter, I was afraid to start up with the FC3 CD, but I do it after your post and now I'm writing from FC3.

It is quite simple. Start up with the FC3 Disc 1 and follow the instructions.
