Unhappy Freeze with suspend

hi,
i'm running mandrake 10.0 (kernel 2.4.25-2mdk) and i'd like to activate suspend to disk.
my kernel have suspend option activated, so i've downloaded the scripts available on swsusp.sourceforge.net. i successfully installed it (under root) and configured it. when i run hibernate, my computer displays a message : "freezing all processes". my computer is frozen himself ! nothing reacts and i obligated to shut down it with the button.
how to get it working ?
thanks.

i can't post my config files because i don't have 5 posts

my problem changed. now i suspend by this
Code:
echo -n disk > /sys/power/state
with a 2.6.3 kernel (compiled in order to suspend)

it suspends but when resuming, I get this message :
Quote:
resuming /dev/hda7
Resuming from device hda7
Kernel panic: Resume Machine: Unable to find suspended-data signature...
hda7 is my swap partition.

where's the problem ?
