Question Freevo takes 4 minutes to load mp3 list

Does anybody know if there is a way to speed up the loading of my mp3 list in Freevo? I'm running Fedora on an Athlon XP 1800+ w/ 256 Mb of PC2700.

When I go to "music" then to my folder holding 3000 mp3's, it takes 4 minutes for the listing of songs to come up. Is there a way to put the list in a sort of cache?

BTW, I'm somewhat new to linux. I've tried it occasionally since RedHat 6.1, and even bought 2 different distros. But this is the first time I've been able to stick with it. What a great feeling. I really want to get this Freevo system working well, so I can show it off to my friends. If they like it, I'll be building a few Freevo boxes in the future for them.

Thank you in advance.

Freevo will take awhile to load the list the first time but if you run freevo cache before starting Freevo it should make it quicker.

Any more specific question you can hit me up on my Freevo users site/forum (Still a work in progress).
