Free PHP IDE?

I am looking for a free PHP IDE for Linux (Slackware 10.1) but I am having a hard time finding one. I keep stumbling across apps such as Maguma Workbench; which you have to pay for, and PHPEditor, which as far as I can tell is only for Windows. I was hoping there would be one like NetBeans for JAVA. Do any of you have some recommendations or know of a good one? Thanks for any help.

There are: Quanta, KDevelop. They come with KDE.
I like Quanta better.

...and if you really need PHPEditor, it run's with wine.

You can download zend studio. When the evaluation licence expires some features are shut off, but it's still quite usable. Personally I prefer Quanta.

Or use the Eclipse IDE, with the php-plugin .

Works perfect for me.

I also found this gPHPEdit.
Looks nice and I think I'll give it a try.

My vote is most definitely for Bluefish, which is part of the openoffice project.

I do PHP development...pretty much all day, every day. I know there may be better things out there, but Bluefish is simple and fits my workflow pretty well.

Quanta+, jEdit, Bluefish. I currently use jEdit as Quanta+ occasionally crashes on me. Give jEdit a try.
