There is a program called g4u. It's one I've heard of but never had a chance to use yet.

Here's the site:
http://rfhs8012.fh-regensburg.de/~feyrer/g4u/

If anyone has any suggestions for anything better I'd like to hear from them. I use ghost a lot on M$ computers and it works nice and is supposed to support linux, but I haven't tried it yet.

Norton ghost 2003 does work on Linux. I've used it on Red Hat. Haven't done a restore jet.

I use the Rescue CD which has Partimage and a bunch of other useful utilities.

This is the only thing I found that could image my reiserfs partition.

Mondo archieve

If you just install Linux on your computer, you can choose mondo as your backup solution. It supports ext2,ext3...It's free and easy to use.I have an experience that Ghost 2003 could not backup my HP server's data (RedHat 8 server). And I chose Mondo and it did what I wanted to do.
