Framebuffer Error

I just installed KDE on gentoo linux 2.6.10-r6. When i start it up, I get an error while it loads the chipset. It states that a framebuffer error has occured.

I have framebuffer settings in my my grub configuration file, but i still get the same error.

Any help is appreciated. I'd be happy to give more information.
