i recently learnt about this coll utility/game called fortune....i have made my own database of quotes for it but i was wondering if i could find a more comprehensive databse from somewhere?

hey moderators...how about letting us put up a fortune generating script here for our signatures...is it doable?

There are tons of different fortunes databases that you can download and use. Just browse the Debian packages listed for fortunes or search freshmeat.net for fortunes and you'll get a ton of hits.
