Lightbulb Force Software RAID delay

Can you force software raid (mirroring a drive) to delay a certain amount of time before syncing?

This would be great if I only wanted the drive to sync daily (just incase I delete something on one drive)

So I guess it would be more like a backup - which is what I'm trying to do.

Thanks,

billy
