font quality lost after upgrading X?
 

Hi all,

I just want to know if a major upgrades of X may corrupt the quality of the fonts.

I'm using debian, and I just upgraded to the 4.2.1-9 release and it seems that my fonts are not as clear as before...

Any suggestions/ideas?
