font gone mad??
 

Hey all,

I have a really peculiar problem. No X applications seem to work! I tried Gimp, Acrobat, XPDF and Opera. When I try to open them from the console, I see things like the ones at the bottom of the post (gathered from different apps). Of course, possessing some brainpower on my own, I figured the trouble was being caused by fonts and even, tried to solve it using apropos.
Yet now I am hopelessly listening to your advices on the matter.
