I've seen many pulpits running fluxbox with icons in menu. Reading man gave me a clue, that all you have to do is to add <PATH_TO_YOUR_ICON/ICON.xpm> after [exec] (...) {...}. I've just downloaded nuvola icon set from kde-look.org, but all icons are png's rather then xpm's. Is it possible to use png format or do I have to change them all to xpm? And if so, is there a simple app, that can do this on large group of files. So far I know that gimp handle this, but, ehm, changing every icon, one by one, isn't worth installing it...

if you do have to convert everything ... it's ok, you don't have to go into gimp to do every single one. ImageMagick provides a command called 'convert' which can do operations on files from the command line.

so if you just stuck that in a script to rename every file it would be quite simple.

Indeed, fluxbox uses xpm's, so it's as easy as to convert (thanks for a good advice, fenderman!) those nice png's and you have pretty-looking icons in menu.
