fluxbox and gnome

im using gentoo with gnome and i want to install fluxbox can i have both gnome and fluxbox installed and select wich one i want to use each time if so how can i do it?

yep. if you're using gdm then it's just a case of choosing which you want when you log in. if you're going from a console, then there's usually a wrapper script for each one, staartfluxbox and startgnome
