Flushing groups and user without reboot

Hi!

I have to add new members to the group "share" in order for them to access some directories. But if i don't reboot the system, the new user in the "share" group can't access the "share" file... Is there a service to reload ? Is it why some server uses LDAP server ?

Thx

Actually, if the session is created AFTER the change to the file, it will be in effect. Log out/in and the change will take place.
