floppy problem !!!!
 
I have make a boot disk from lilo in linux suse 7.2.
iff I startup then i can choose between linux and windows.

But when i ths floppy want to open in linux theen i get a massage the the floppy is not mounted.

How can i open the floppy to look what is on the boot floppy from lilo??

Usually the floppy is compressed. I mean there is a kernel (compressed) and filesystem (also compressed). The only method to look into is search for the begining of filesystem, copy the whole filesystem, decompress and then mount it. Uff! Hawd work. Detailed description can be found in Bootdisk-HOWTO (there described process of CREATING a boot disk, to look into floppy you should do this the other direction).
