flashplayer doesn't work in Opera

I have installed flashplayer to Operas and Mozillas plugin directory and both of them identify flashplayer but it doesn't work. I have even tried to install flashplayer to my homedir without any results. Why flashplayer doesn't work although Opera identifys it?

you have to tell opera, where the plug in located at !!!
alt-p i think, there somewhere you could enter the path where the plug in located...

The plugin path was the first thing which I checked and it was correct. Sorry that I wasn't mentioned that before. I'm not only a linux beginner but also an English language beginner

depending which version your are running you might wanna try a bit older version of flashplayer as it had happend to me b4, no idea y it happends, its just another one of those things that Linux does to make life harder 4 n00bs (like my self)
