Native Flash programs for Linux are rare - Macromedia just has no interest in us (hope that changes once teh Macromedia acquisition by Adobe is complete). Why not post the problems you've experienced with F4L and we'll try to get that solved for you.
I download the tar.gz from the website and did ./configure I then did make and got the following error:
Quote:
cd . && /home/bruce/F4L-BETA/admin/missing aclocal-1.4
WARNING: `aclocal-1.4' is needed, and you do not seem to have it handy on your
system. You might have modified some files without having the
proper tools for further handling them. Check the `README' file,
it often tells you about the needed prerequirements for installing
this package. You may also peek at any GNU archive site, in case
some other package would contain this missing `aclocal-1.4' program.
make: *** [aclocal.m4] Error 1
From what I've found, aclocal has to do with automake, which is the program that runs when you run
make.
You may want to try reinstalling automake, thats all I can come up with.
