Flash Web Browser Pop up Alert

I have just installed a fresh copy of Slackware 9.1 with Dropline Gnome 2.6 and am using epiphany (gnome web browser) to surf the web. Now this doesnīt have the Flash plugin installed by default & I must say that I am actually getting quite fond of surfing the net without flash especially now that there are those annoying banner ads with with sound made from flash.

So anyway my question is not how do I install Flash - I donīt want it in this browser but what I would like to know is if there is a way to stop the pop up notification epiphany gives me everytime I navigate to a page with Flash content to tell me I donīt have it.

Donīt have it - donīt want it.

Any help would be apprieciated

I don't know about Epiphany as I've never used it but Epiphany uses Mozilla's gecko rendering engine and so has some similarities with Mozilla Firefox. In Firefox (or Mozilla) if you want to stop the "you need a plugin" popups what you need to do is delete the libnullplugin.so from Mozilla or Firefox's plugins folder. If Epiphany is based on Mozilla, try deleting Mozilla's libnullplugin.so.
