flash plugin for firefox

Hi,

I just downloaded the firefox, which looks very good.
After a succesfull installation, I tried to install the flash plugin but it doesn't work.

It worked perfectly with wit Mozilla 1.6 and Galeon.
My OS: Mandrake 10.0

Thanks for your help.

Easy enough.
Download flash from macromedia.mplug.org, then extract the package and copy libflashplayer.so and flashplayer.xpt to your firefox/plugins directory

wish it worked for me. I've got Mandrake 10, and using Firefox........downloaded and installed flash 7 fine, but the audio sounds like the chipmonks on speed. I even moved the files you suggested into firefox plugin folder.........still chipmonks. Anybody know the fix?

so far ... yes. I say so far because although I have successfully played mp3 and wav files from my computer, I have not taken the time yet to play an audio CD.
