flash player plugin ona 64 bit OS


Hi,
I have installed FC6 64-bit ISO suitable for my computer. Now, i need to run flash content on my firefox. when i downloaded install_flas_player from net, its telling me i cnat do it on 64 bit
pls help

Hi Sailaja.

You need to install the 32-bit version of firefox, say you install it into your home directory. The you can download macromedia flash from the website and untar the contents. Put the libflashplayer.so file into /home/sailaja/firefox/plugins/ or wherever you've installed it and then run the 32-bit version: /home/sailaja/firefox/firefox

A google search on this will return lots of instructions.
