flash player and 64-bit Fedora Core 8
Hello,
I'm trying to install Flash Player (youtube doesn't work properly) on 64 Fedora Core 8 but without success. I tried tar.gz, rpm, and yum options. When I try tar.gz, after unpacking installer shows up information that this is 64 bit version of Fedora and flash-installer cannot be installed on this platform. How can I install flash player?. Where can I find what plug-ins are installed in Firefox browser?. I know where there are plugins in Mozilla (Help->Plug-ins) but I cannot find the same information in Firefox. In advance thanks for answer. Cheers. |
First the flash plug-in is only for 32-bit version of firefox and other browsers, this gives you two choices, one is to use the 32-bit version of firefox instead of the 64-bit version.
The other is for the 64-bit version firefox then is to use the nspluginwrapper package; yum install nspluginwrapper |
