In all my experience using Opera under Linux, I've yet to see Flash succeed in grabbing input. Sure, Flash will accept input... but Opera will too, no matter how many times I "click to activate and use this control."

Google's results turn up lists claiming that this was an issue fixed back in 2003, but those claims were made for the Windows version, well before there even existed a Flash plugin for Linux.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, is there a known fix or even a sloppy (yet complete) workaround for this?

I'd hate to have to fall back to Firefox and its heavy memory usage, grotesque loading times, and patchy processor scheduling. (Okay, so that's an exaggeration, but Flash and some Java aside, Opera definitely provides a much smoother browsing experience.)

I have been using opera for over two years now on windows and linux and I have noticed that I usually face some problems when loading multiple flash in multiple tabs but never this input issue.

Could you please refer to a specefic flash with this problem so I can test it from here?
