Running stuff like web browsers as root is not generally a good idea

I believe the flash plugin will work okay if you just put a link to libflashplayer.whatever.so in your opera/plugins directory. Look at your mozilla plugins directory for info... usually there is just a symbolic link to the real plugin, so you may just need to run:

ln -s /usr/lib/libflashplayer.so /usr/lib/opera/plugins/libflashplayer.so

I haven't actually tried this for Opera, but it has worked for me for other browsers.

I run Opera and just checked my plugins. My Flash plugin is linked to the following:

/usr/lib/netscape/plugins/libflashplayer.so

So, I think that wapcaplet's suggestion is right on the money.

Well, i want everything be so easy as you said, but still terminator3.com don't want to show me button "enter". Hei !!! I know some important thing. I can see flash 5 with netscape plugin. Maybe you ( Opera user ) can't see button "enter" on terminator3.com too ?

I don't know why installing flash 6 make some problems
WARNING: Please enter a valid installation path.

When I get home tonight I'll try to go there and see. BTW, I've got Flash 5 not 6 so I don't know how much of a difference this is going to make for you. Are you 100% sure that the "enter" button is flash?

Do a search on this site for "Flash Opera" and this link will be in the list http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...ht=opera+flash
it even has the links needed for the flash plugin to work properly under Opera
