flash

hey m8, im a linux flash animator, it is V possible to create flash animtions under linux!!!

yes you could try using wine but ive heard its not v good idea (V slow etc..).

The way I do it is using CodeWeavers CrossOver Office. It can emulate the windows version of flash.

Mind u, you can only use Flash MX, not 2004 or 8, ive tried .
but, none the less, both of the new versions are more like Photoshop CS2 from earlyer Photoshop 7. If you know what i mean. (basicaly its not so glossy;) )

Yes CrossOver Office does cost a bit of money but it also lets u install proggrams like Itunes,Quicktime, Photoshop etc.

there is a list on their site of the proggrams surported.

Flash MX works perfectly, a few gui differences on the linux 'version', but still, works a dream!

if u need any help in using or getting crossover office, just IM me
