Flash Editor


Does anyone know a flash editor for linux? I am trying to create/ edit .swf files. but i have unable to find a suitable application. i tried f4l which was the .rpm version however when trying to open a .swf file for editing seg fault or the screen freezes. i downloaded the tar version but cant seem to figure out how to compile it. Someone also told me I can edit or create .swf files with openoffice . However i hsve not found suitable doc for doing thsi . Any hints, suggestions helps will be appreciated.

I have heard that, using the powerpoint/slideshow app in openoffice.org, you can save as swf.

Whats next?

i have heard the same thing about open office impress. but the qu3estion ishow do you do it? or more so how do you edit existing .swf flash files.

secondly, I can't get ooo to work on my mac (stupid corrupted download) so I can't answer from experience
