Flash applets in Firefox freeze every two seconds

I'm using Firefox on an Debian sid system. Every flash applet freezes a bit every two seconds which is VERY annoying especially in games and flash movies.
Well, i don't know what else to say about that, firefox installed via apt, all packages absolutely up-to-date, flash installed some month ago...
Any help is verrry appreciated.
