Flash animation?

Hi,

Does anyone know how to make a flash animation in linux? I mean, is there any free native linux replacement for Macromedia's Flash Mx?

Thanks...

There's an old project called f4l (Flash for Linux). I remember trying its first release and it was not good. Perhaps today it is actually good, give it a try:

Good luck!

OpenOffice Impress (the presentation module) has the ability to export as Flash (SWF-Format). I don't know how well it works, though.

Well, I've tried both of these apps, but f4l doesn't seem to be able to do anything on my computer (there still seems to be no dialogs at all: no object/layer properties, no app settings and so on, though menu entries for these are present).

Impress is a bit more workable, but I can't say that it's good at all. Everything is limited to a few forms, shapes ant text: Animation of an area when mouse is over it for example, seems to be impossible (at least I didn't find any way of doing it properly).

Isn't there any other app to do Flash MX's job??
