Firefox with Linux

This is probably an super simple question but I am running a Fedora Core 6 machine and I have installed the latest Firefox browser (5.0).

My question is, why do I not have the Tools/Options portion of the browser like I do in Linux? When I am signed in as root or as a regular user, the option part of the Tools tab is not there.

IN light of this, how does one set the home page?

There's a firefox 5.0? Latest release on their site is 2.0.0.3.... and are you referring to Firefox in Windows missing the Tools > Options?

I thin you looking for the Options Tab...you can get the same functionality in Edit -> Preferences.

Hope that helps.

Thanks to all.
