Firefox : transfering passwords to a new profile

Hello hello !

I'm wondering about something...
I created a new profile within my Firefox (because of an unsolvable bug that caused FF to crash whenever I asked it to download a picture), and I would like to "import" into the new profile all my saved passwords.

Would you know if there is a way to copy the saved passwords of an old profile into a new profile ?
other than manually copying every one of the passwords ?

Would there be a crypted file that I could simply copy from a folder into another folder ? Or is thre a utility to do that ?

Thanks if you guys can help me ^_^

Copy over the ASCII file called "signons.txt" from your old profile dir.

Aaaaw, I tried when I got back home, and alas that won't work. Copying signons.txt into a new profile folder didn't help firefox remember any password at all.

That file contains crypted passwords, and I guess that the key to those passwords is stored somewhere else, Too bad :(
