Have you checked that Java/Javascript is enabled ? Edit -> Preferences -> Web features. To test, you could also use http://www.javatester.org to be sure.

Cheers,

hi

i checked it and it is enabled
Then i went to that site but javascript is not on, but firefox said there are missing plugins. So i clicked to install them, but then firefox can't find the plugin and i have to install it myself. The button for this does not work at all
It says: java runtime environment -> manual installation

Any idea how i can install this manually in firefox

thx

From your post it looks like you do not have Java installed.

Also do have Block Popups checked? That could be why windows you expect to open do not.

Are you using any extensions like Adblock or NoScript that can block javascript/popups?
