1) Does this actually stop you using Firefox, or some feature of firefox, or is it just an inconvenience at start-up?
2) Is that the
complete error message? Please cut & paste it all if possible, even if it's really long.
3) Try running firefox as the root user. Do
not do this normally - just once and then tell us what happens.
