firefox instances closing


Hi
env: kernel 2.6.12 firefox 1.0.6
i'm just implementig firefox .

when than an instance of firefox is opened (more forefox windows)...
closing one istance ,then all the other firefox windows are closed...
how to avoid this ...
i need only the requested window to be closed...
thanks in advance ...

Upgrade to a more current version - Firefox v1.0.6 is very old. The current version is v1.5.0.4 and I think as long as you're going through the installation process, you might as well be using a modern release.
