firefox fails to load page

Hi.

I'm running SuSE Pro 9.1 and Firefox 1.0. I have flash, java installed and working fine. I recently set up a Yahoo! mail account through firefox and used it successfully for a time.

Now, when I try to load http://www.yahoo.co.uk I just get a blank page. Other sites work fine, and I can open the yahoo page using opera. If I view the page source of the blank page with firefox, I get:

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"><html><head><title></title></head><body></body></html>

I have tried deleting my cookies and cache, but to no avail.

Any clues??

Do you have JavaScript enabled? I just looked at the source of that page and most of what is in the body tags is javascript and css. I'd check that first.

Yes, I have javascript enabled, according to edit, preferences.

I have got sun java 2-1.4.2 installed

css is apparently supported by firefox 1.0, which I also have installed.
