Firefox Export

I am using Windows XP as well as openSUSE 11.3 .Now I want to Export all my bookmark and other customizations of Windows' Firefox to that of Linux.

Is there any way by which I can Export selected book-mark,plug-ins and themes [optional]?

Bookmarks are just a HTML text file. You can export it to your Desktop in Windows. Then send it via email to your Linux Browser email client. Then download from email client into Linux /home/documents. Then import it into Linux Browser.

Plugins and themes though. I can't tell ya. Don't know. I don't dual boot.

Unfortunately, all Plugins don't work from platform to platform. So you'll more than likely have to download each one anew. But, if you'd like to try moving them they are in "\program files\mozilla firefox\plugins"

When moving over to linux firefox /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/ ( or /usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins if you use 64 bit linux) you might have to run "mozilla-plugin-config -i -c -v" to have them recognized by firefox

There are also plugins that don't like linux specifically, like Tidy.
