Firefox dying on dialog boxes

It seems that on most dialog boxes, my firefox dies (mozilla packaged, 1.0). For example if I here on LQ press the add live bookmark button, it starts showing the window, loads it partially and then closes the whole app. Here are the errors on the console:
Code:
*** loading the extensions datasource

(Gecko:27278): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_get_parent_window: assertion `GTK_IS_
WIDGET (widget)' failed

(Gecko:27278): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_get_from_drawable: assertion `src !=
NULL' failed

(Gecko:27278): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_get_n_channels: assertion `pixb
uf != NULL' failed

(Gecko:27278): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_get_bits_per_sample: assertion

(Gecko:27278): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_get_width: assertion `pixbuf !=

(Gecko:27278): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_get_height: assertion `pixbuf !

(Gecko:27278): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_get_rowstride: assertion `pixbu

(Gecko:27278): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_unref: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT

(Gecko:27278): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_get_parent: assertion `GTK_IS_WIDGET
(widget)' failed
/opt/firefox.orig/run-mozilla.sh: line 159: 27278 Segmentation fault      "$prog
" ${1+"$@"}
The only major recent update was the GSB 2.2 gnome full install.. Thats most likely the causer, but any more specific ideas?

UPDATE:
did a few testings. As root firefox spits out the same errors without the segfault on startup allready, but it works, and is able to show boxes.. hmm.. Ill try a fresh .firefox

another update:
meh, works like a dream with a empty config.. So its gotta be something ive added recently..

moah.. changed my theme back to plastikfox from Saferfox, and voila, I can add bookmarks again, and subscribe to rss feeds.. Damn thats one tricky theme if it causes segfaults.. Too bad, it was pretty nice.. The best ive seen.. ):
