Firefox burnt

For the past few days I have been unable to run firefox. When I click on the menu item in the menu, I get the bouncing icon, but no firefox! And when I type firefox on te command line, nothing happens. After a few seconds I get the prompt back, no output, no firefox. If I su to another user then I can open Firefox from the command line.

I'm on Fedora Core 3 with KDE. And advise would be welcome. Thanks.

Maybe something is wrong with your firefox settings. Try backing up your .mozilla directory then delete it and try to run Firefox again.

That most certainly did it! Thanks.

BTW, I was able to recover my bookmarks from
/home/dotancohen/.mozilla/firefox/ha344fix.default/bookmarks.html
which was my big concern.

Thanks!
