Hi.

I'm using Firefox 1.0 on SuSE 9.1 Pro. Whenever I receive webmail with a jpeg attachment, it seems to be fairly random as to which application is used to open the file.

When I click on a file, I get the dialog box asking me whether I wish to save or open, and usually it says "Open with Display (default)" This is what I want it to do, and have clicked the box to say always do this with this type of file.

However, about 50% of the jpeg's I try to open, I only get offered the gimp. Even in the same mail, with multiple attachments, it may choose 'display' once, then on a subsequent opening of the same file will revert back to the gimp.

Any ideas as to why this might be happening, or where the file association mappings are stored please?
