Sorry if this has been asked before...

Anyway, I have some font issues with Firefox. Some fonts, like the toolbar/menu fonts, are extremely large, while some fonts are small and readable. This also happens on websites: the two sets of fonts at the top of the LinuxQuestions main page look crazy next to each other, and right now I'm typing in a font size twice as large as the surrounding text.

I have Konqueror open to show what a normal window looks like.

I know about the DPI setting in about:config, but it does absolutely nothing, whether I set it to 120, 96, or 3. (yes, I actually tried 3 just to see if it was doing anything- it obviously isn't).

I doubt it's a problem with the theme, as I haven't installed any add-ons yet (this is a relatively new system).

.. Firefox 3.0.4 .. are you sure ? Why not Firefox-3.5.3 ?

But anyway, your issue may be solved by this :
1) Backup your bookmarks, e.g. to Xmarks.

2) Delete /home/"name"/.mozilla/firefox/ ,
.. which is a hidden file.

.. Restart firefox, and you have got a new configuration.

About 3.0.4: I just haven't bothered to upgrade yet. Might in the near future.
