Firefox 3.0.3 return key not working

I'm having a sporadic problem with Firefox 3.0.3 on CentOS 5.2.........

After typing in a url and you press the enter key...nothing happens. It's
as if the return key doesn't work....but it really does work. This
problem isn't associated with any particular url....seems to be 100%
random; and not all users are having the same problem. I've tried
rebooting the machines and that doesn't solve the problem. Tried
restarting Firefox, even making sure the processes have died, and that
doesn't work.

Has anyone else seen this problem?????

Any ideas on how to fix it???

Thanks,
-Mark
