firefox 1.0pr tab browsing


I have downloaded and installed firefox but am not getting this tabbed broswing cause when i click on a link, it opens the link in a new window instead of in another tab. How can this be fixed?

Open firefox then
edit->perference->advance and check the tabbing you want.

I believe in order to change tabbed browsing preferrences you need to download the extension. You can do that by going to tools>extensions>get more extensions at the bottom right of the window. Once on that page go to Tabbed Browsing on the left hand side and go to page 2. There will be an extension called Tabbedbrowsing Preferences. Once that is installed you just go back to extensions, highlight that extension and hit options. There are lots of things you can change within there. Hope this helps.

try clicking with the middle mouse button... thats the default for opening in a new tab.
