Firefox 0.9 install question?

I searched for help on a correct Firefox 0.9 install in Linux but came up short.

I am using Fedora Core 2 Linux and KDE 3.2.2-4 window manager if it makes any difference.

I downloaded the file firefox-0.9.1-i686-linux-gtk2+xft-installer.tar.gz to /home/carlwill.

I can unzip this to the same folder (/home/carlwill) and that leaves me with a folder called firefox-installer

Now I don't know when I run the auto installer , where should I install the actual firefox browser? It asks me for a destiniation to install and I am really not sure where to install this.

Thanks for any info.

If you're installing from an RPM, you can just rpm -e mozilla-firefox. But you're not, so the easiest thing to do would be to install it to it's own dir(something like /usr/local/firefox), and then you can just delete that to uninstall. If you want to delete the preferences and bookmarks too, they're in a folder called .firefox in your home directory.
